These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website localtranslate.com (the “Site”) and the translation services provided by LocalTranslate LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of North Carolina, United States. By accessing our Site or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

LocalTranslate LLC provides professional document translation services, including certified translations for immigration, legal, medical, and academic purposes, across 30+ language pairs. Certified translations are prepared to meet the requirements commonly accepted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), courts, and other institutions.

3. Accuracy and Acceptance of Translations

LocalTranslate LLC guarantees the accuracy of our certified translations and their compliance with the certified translation standards generally required by USCIS and other government agencies. Our certification statement confirms that the translation is a true and accurate representation of the original document to the best of our translators’ ability.

However, the final decision to accept, reject, or request additional documentation or clarification rests solely with the receiving government agency, court, university, or other third-party institution. LocalTranslate LLC does not control and cannot guarantee the outcome of any application, filing, or submission made using our translations.

LocalTranslate LLC is not liable for any financial loss, delay, denial, or other adverse outcome resulting from decisions made by government agencies, courts, or other institutions, provided such decisions are not directly caused by a material error or inaccuracy in the translation itself.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing legible, complete, and accurate source documents. LocalTranslate LLC is not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays resulting from illegible, incomplete, or inaccurate source materials provided by the client.

5. Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times (e.g., 24–48 hours standard, same-day rush available) are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to document complexity, volume, or circumstances beyond our control. LocalTranslate LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from delays.

6. Payment

Payment is due at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via major credit and debit cards processed securely through Stripe. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client documents and information as strictly confidential and will not disclose them to third parties except as necessary to provide the requested services or as required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and translations methodology, is the property of LocalTranslate LLC and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalTranslate LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
